Vince MacDermot is an artist with architectural training and background. He learned to draw and paint at a young age from noted Canadian painter Anne Savage. His work is geometric and mathematical.

Vince MacDermot RA was born in Montreal on June 14, 1957. He came to the United States as a child with his family in 1964 where they settled in Staten Island, New York.

Vince MacDermot entered the architecture profession as a sole practitioner in 1987 after serving apprenticeships with architectural and engineering firms in Manhattan and Staten Island. His art was used in album and CD covers.

His architecture practice serves the Staten Island community. Vince MacDermot has received 57 awards for his work

His art has been shown at Juno Gallery in lower Manhattan and Canvas Institute, Staten Island and is in collections of private collectors.
